The MOA Museum Shimonoseki Children’s Art Exhibition, featuring paintings and calligraphy works submitted by children from Shimonoseki City, was held on the 22nd at the Civic Center exhibition hall.
(The event was organized by the MOA Museum and others, with support from the Mainichi Shimbun and other sponsors.)

This 29th exhibition received a total of 1,423 entries from 36 elementary schools in the city.
Among these, 208 prize-winning works were displayed at the venue.

We are proud to announce that a student from our calligraphy school received the prestigious Mainichi Shimbun Award in this exhibition.

This honor is the result of steady and diligent effort.
