A work by one of our students was featured in the “Enjoying Calligraphy” section of the Mainichi Newspaper.

Hitomi Hamano
“The strong strokes and well-formed characters are truly impressive. If you continue to write carefully like this, your lines and characters will become even more beautiful.”

Hitomi has been attending our calligraphy school since the latter half of kindergarten.
There was a period when she came with her mother, but above all, she is a determined and persistent student who thoughtfully approaches her writing.

Mio Bessho
“Each stroke is written faithfully and carefully, showing her serious dedication to calligraphy. For further improvement, try writing the ‘rain’ radical (雨) a little larger and the character ‘cloud’ (云) a bit smaller.”

Mio has been attending with her older sister since the latter half of kindergarten.
She has accurate knowledge of stroke order and kanji, suggesting a strong command of Chinese characters.
Her calm smile is wonderful.

Keep up the great work!
